Delivery & Postage
Alexandra Vintage thanks you for your order!
We aim to deliver your purchase to you within one week of receiving your order unless otherwise requested. This allows us to cross all the T’s and dot the I’s when it comes to the payment process, wrap and secure it in protective packaging and of course, essentially, allow for postage carriage. Residents outside the UK please allow up to 5 days for Europe and up to 10 days for International. You will receive an email from us on dispatch of your vintage delight from Alexandra Vintage…
UK Orders
All orders are sent either Recorded or Special Delivery – both delivery methods require a signature upon receipt. You will receive an email with the tracking number enclosed, on dispatch of your order. If you are not home at the time of delivery you will be left a calling card by Royal Mail for you to collect your parcel from your local post office. You must collect your parcel within 7 days, after this time Royal Mail will return your parcel to us, if your delivery is via courier please email orders@alexandravintage.com for more information. Once you receive your email notification of your order dispatch please be aware of this and look out for your delivery or calling card. You can also email orders@alexandravintage.com for your Royal Mail or courier tracking number. Order parcels that are returned to us can be re-delivered but at your own cost, we will notify you by email regarding re-delivery of your order.
Postage
We offer the following postage options:
International Signed For Outside Europe (10 – 12 working days) £10.00
International Signed For Within Europe (Up to 10 working days) £8.00
UK Recorded Delivery (2 – 5 working days) £4.00
UK Special Delivery (1 – 2 working days) £6.00
Please note: Although Alexandra Vintage honours fixed postage costs per order, the postage options we offer are in line with current postage tariffs and are based on variable rates, thus subject to change without prior notice. Heavy packages weighing more than 1.5kg will be subject to an additional postage charge. ‘Alexandra Vintage Bridal’ gowns are subject to increases in delivery costs due to the weight and style of packaging used. Postage increases will automatically be calculated upon checkout in addition to the postage option chosen. The UK Special Delivery option usually guarantees delivery within 1 – 2 days and will require a signature upon delivery of your parcel.
International Orders
Items will be sent via Royal Mail ‘Signed For’ Delivery with all parcels requiring a signature upon receipt. You will receive an email on dispatch of your order. If you are not home at the time of delivery you will be left a calling card by your local postal service for you to collect your parcel from your local post office. You must collect your parcel within the set time outlined by your local postal service, after this time your postal service will return your parcel to us. Once you receive your email notification of your order dispatch please be aware of this and look out for your delivery or calling card. You can also email orders@alexandravintage.com for your order parcel tracking number. Order parcels that are returned to us can be re-delivered but at your own cost, we will notify you by email regarding re-delivery of your order.
We will of course always do our best to deliver in good time but we cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost once despatched.
