This 1960's vintage brooch is full of decadent charm and is very reminiscent of the art deco era when 'bright young girls' would wear shapeless shift dresses and adorn themselves with high-end costume jewellery. This particular gold-tone vintage brooch depicts a cascading Arum lily which has a lengthy botanical name of 'Zantedeschia aethiopica'. The centre of the lily is crammed full of beautiful black and clear faceted rhinestones which sparkle and dazzle in the light. The stem is tied with a ribbon of black stones and a textured open leaf winds its way down the other side in a half moon fashion. The different gold-tone effects of smooth and rough textures helps to highlight and bring the flower to the forefront, this in turn makes this stunning vintage brooch a real stand-out-in-the-crowd piece.
This unique 1960's vintage brooch would look picture perfect on a dress like this one or worn for everyday on a favourite top or jacket, would definitely get you noticed.
